CMS’S FIRST DESTINATION IN 2005
CMS’s first
destination point in year 2005 was Damascus, Syria with Machitech
“Made in Turkey -Machinery and Machinery Equipment Fair” to be held
between January 11-15, 2005. Above 145 pioneering firms of their
sector have already applied for participation in the fair, which was
realized at an exhibition area of around 5,000 square meters. The
fair was held under the patronage of Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed
Naji Otri.
The sectors to be staged in the fair include; Agriculture
Machinery, Work Machinery, Packing Machinery, Food Processing
Machinery, Textile Machinery, Wood Working Machinery,
Construction Machinery, Automotive Machinery, Paper Machinery,
Footwear Machinery, Leather Processing Machinery, Welding
Machinery, Heat Machinery, Plastic Processing Machinery,
Chucking Equipment, Hydraulic Presses, Ventilation and Cooling,
Pumps, Reduction, Power Transmission Equipments and Couplings,
Refining Systems, Elevators, Molds, Compressors and Generators,
Transformers, Electric and Electronic Parts, Automation.
The Machitech fair participated by 149 reputable Turkish firms
had proved to be a big success and created a huge potential on
this market with around 20,000 visitors. The fair established a
convenient platform for the businessmen from Turkey and Middle
East, and by the promoted economic relations, it contributed to
the economies of all participant countries and the trade volume
between them.
All these positive developments indicate that the
trade relations between Turkey and Syria will develop in a
healthy manner and the Machitech Fair to be realized in Damascus
in January 2005 will greatly contribute to the improvement of
cooperation among Saudi and Turkish firms.
